Mary Sue Milliken is co-chef/owner of the popular, critically acclaimed Border Grill restaurants in Downtown LA, Santa Monica, Las Vegas and coming soon to Los Angeles International Airport. She is also co-chef/owner of the gourmet taco truck phenomenon, the Border Grill Truck. A pioneer of world cuisine since the creation of City CafĂ© and CITY Restaurant in Los Angeles in the 1980â€™s, Mary Sue is a preeminent ambassador of modern Mexican cuisine, setting the standard for gourmet Mexican fare for nearly three decades. Mary Sue was the first female chef at Chicago’s Le Perroquet in the 1970′s, and later trained in Paris at a Michelin 2-star, female chef-owned restaurant. Along with a handful of progressive women chefs, Mary Sue helped found Women Chefs & Restaurateurs, an organization which promotes and enhances the education, advancement and connection of women in the culinary industry. Partnering with Chef Susan Feniger for over 25 years, Mary Sue is the co-author of five cookbooks, including Cooking with Too Hot Tamales, Mesa Mexicana, and City Cuisine, as well as co-star of two Food Network TV series, â€śToo Hot Tamalesâ€ť and â€śTamales World Tour”. Mary Sue competed successfully on season three of Bravo’s â€śTop Chef Masters”, winning $40,000 for her charity, Share Our Strength, an organization dedicated to ending childhood hunger in America by 2015 with the No Kid Hungry campaign. She is also passionate about the environment and practices many eco-friendly policies at the restaurants and Truck, including a commitment to serving only sustainable seafood as part of the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch program.

Susan Fenigerâ€™s passion for food has propelled her into a three-decade career as a successful chef, restaurateur, cookbook author, and media darling, with the Los Angeles Times saying, â€śShe deserves an Emmy for energy.” She spends most days dividing her time between her Border Grill restaurants in Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, Downtown Los Angeles, and Santa Monica, CA, as well as the Border Grill Truck (all co-owned with Chef Mary Sue Milliken), not to mention her first solo venture, Susan Fenigerâ€™s STREET. A veteran of nearly 400 episodes of Food Network’s “Too Hot Tamales” along with Milliken, Feniger also co-authored five cookbooks, including Mesa Mexicana, Cooking with Too Hot Tamales, and City Cuisine, as well as her new solo project cookbook Susan Feniger’s STREET FOOD. After a successful stint on season two of Bravo’s â€śTop Chef Masters,â€ť features in Oprah Magazine, Bon AppĂ©tit, and Gourmet and a wide range of media including â€śThe Today Show,â€ť â€śThe Talk,â€ť “Top Chef,” “Chopped,” and “The Best Thing I Ever Ate,” she was also a featured chef at the U.S. Open and Dodger Stadium and cooked for the â€śReal Housewives of Orange County.â€ť Susan shines a light on a number of worthwhile organizations, including the Scleroderma Research Foundation, the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center, and Seafood Watch.
